My client is finally closing on her new apartment at the acclaimed Lucida. It’s the Upper East Side’s first LEED Condominum building. It’s amazing, to see it come to fruition after two years of construction. I am honing in on the important details now….bath accessories for her twin girls. We have to make them feel comfortable and excited in their new digs.
Here’s my shopping list for these sweet girls:
- Towels
- Waste paper basket
- Tooth brush holder
- Soap dish
I am heading out shopping…CB2, muji, Ikea. Also checking out the website:
http://www.moolka.com. I love their toothbrush holders. Let me know if you know any great places for kids bath accessories!

Not every piece of art work (scribble) my son does is a masterpiece. But I can’t bear to throw them away. Above I took 9 of his creations and created a “contact sheet”. Working with Photoshop Elements – I followed the picture package instructions.
I printed it as large as could on my own home computer – 8 1/2 x11. Then framed it for my son’s room. He loves looking at all his creations!!

I love to do art projects with my son and I am thrilled that he likes to paint, draw and build things. He especially likes to cut paper. But as most moms know, it takes a while to get all the supplies out and organized and then they only seem to do the project for about 10 minutes. I am forever thinking of ways to organize the supplies and how my son can help in the process.
As they say a picture is worth a thousand words and since my son doesn’t read yet I think it’s worth ten million words! So with the help of photoshop, I made these great labels. I attached the labels on to old formula cans and instant organization….( well I am dreamer )
